My name is Asif Khan. I’ve taught Maths, Science, and Computing in UK secondary schools for 22 years — from inner-city London to Somerset.
I’ve led departments, marked GCSE and A-Level papers as an examiner, and sat in every staffroom conversation you’re having right now about AI. I hold a Masters in Data Science, and I’ve spent the last two years mapping AI tools against real classroom practice — not theory, not Silicon Valley hype.
When AI arrived in schools, teachers were curious, sometimes excited — but mostly anxious, and completely unsupported. The guidance was either non-existent, American, or written by people who had never stood in front of a Year 10 class on a Friday afternoon. So I built NexisLearn. Not as a tech product. As the course I wish had existed.
