Safeguarding and Learner Welfare Statement

Last updated: 19 August 2026.

NexisLearn provides online educational content. It is not an emergency, counselling or safeguarding-reporting service and does not replace the responsibilities of a learner’s school, college, parent or guardian.

Getting urgent help

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. A safeguarding concern involving a learner connected with a school or college should normally be reported through that institution’s designated safeguarding lead and established safeguarding procedure.

Using NexisLearn safely

  • Do not submit medical information, detailed safeguarding disclosures, candidate numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary forms or support email.
  • Learning activities are designed not to request unnecessary sensitive personal information.
  • Support staff must not create private pastoral relationships with learners.
  • Institution-led customers retain responsibility for safeguarding, pastoral support, supervision and local escalation.
  • If NexisLearn receives a disclosure accidentally, access to it will be restricted to the named safeguarding owner below and handled through a documented, retained-on-file safeguarding and data-protection process.

Under-16 learners

Individual self-registration is restricted to learners aged 16 or over. Access for an under-16 learner must be arranged through their school or college using school-managed contact details and the appropriate institutional safeguarding and data arrangements.

Named safeguarding contact

NexisLearn’s named safeguarding owner is Muhammad Asif Khan (founder). Safeguarding-related messages can be sent to [email protected] and are monitored Monday to Friday, with a response target of within 2 working days (excluding UK public holidays). This is not an emergency route — for immediate danger, call 999.
